Q: What can I expect in your apartment?

Our flat consists of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms (including a bath/shower/hand basin/toilet and a hairdryer), living room, dining area and a fully equipped kitchen.  The kitchen contains a microwave, fridge freezer, gas cook top, oven, cutlery, crockery, kettle, toaster, pots and pans and cooking utensils.  There is a TV and DVD player, iron and ironing board, wireless broadband internet and maid service (weekly).  There is bed linen, towels, tea towels, duvets and blankets.  There are also 2 air beds (1 single and 1 double plus an electric pump) for extra guests.

Q: What maid service is included?

The apartment is cleaned and linen and towels are changed once a week free of charge (at the end of one week’s occupancy). Additional house-cleaning service is available on request and is charged according to your requirements.  Please ask if you require additional cleaning.

Q: What currencies can I pay in?

We can accept either Australian dollars (AUD) or British pounds (GBP) by electronic transfer or online banking payment.  Payment by cheque is also accepted, as long as there is sufficient time for the funds to be cleared 21 days prior to your reservation period commencing.

Q: Do you accept credit cards or American Express?

Unfortunately we do not accept any credit or debit cards, American Express or Diners Club Cards at this time.  Electronic fund transfers are preferred.  Cheques are acceptable providing there is sufficient time for the funds to be cleared 21 days prior to your reservation period commencing.

Q: If I have a hire car is there parking available nearby?

Pay & Display Parking:  Mon-Fri 8.30am-6.30pm, Sat 8.30am-1.30pm.  Max stay: 4 hours.  Fee: £3/hour.  However you can park in the Pay & Display bays or on single yellow lines outside of the noted Pay & Display hours for free.

Congestion Charge Zone:  Cornwall Gardens is now within the Congestion Charge zone and vehicles are subject to the Congestion Charge if driven within the charging zone between 07:00 and 18:00, Monday to Friday. You do not have to pay the charge on weekends, English public holidays, designated non-charging days, or between 18:00 and 07:00.  You can get more information from the Transport for London website

Q: What are the check-in/check-out times?

As a rule check-in is after 2pm and check-out is before 11am.  However, as we are not a hotel and need to arrange key hand-over for each guest, we try to be flexible and help fit in with your travel plans, so please contact us to discuss your specific travel needs.
