Terms & ConditionsBooking process and payment:Booking processConfirmation of availability must be provided in writing (or email) for any reservations. Upon confirming a reservation we require full payment of the reservation unless stated otherwise upon confirmation. Your reservation is not confirmed until full payment for the reservation has been received. You will then be issued with a receipt of full payment. We will then provide you with location details, property information and any key collection process. Any person booking on behalf of another guest shall be held liable under the following Terms and Conditions. Booking confirmationsNo reservation is confirmed unless the client has received a booking confirmation. Booking confirmations will be sent via fax, email or post on receipt of full payment unless stated otherwise. PricesPrices stated on this website are a guide only. Exact prices for a specific property will be confirmed upon enquiry. We reserve the right to amend any prices stated on the website at any time. Prices quoted are VAT-free and GST-free unless stated otherwise. Prices quoted are for accommodation only and any extras are not included in the stated price and will consequently be charged to you as appropriate. Currency and exchange ratesThe price can be charged in either Australian Dollars (AUD) or Pounds Sterling (GBP). Upon reservation you may request which currency you wish to be charged. Prices will be confirmed in the requested currency prior to payment. All exchange rates are at the Owner’s discretion. Payment procedureWe require full payment of accommodation at least 21 days prior to the arrival date. No accommodation will be provided at check-in unless we have received cleared funds. If cleared funds cannot be paid prior to the day of occupying the accommodation, in certain circumstances other arrangements may be agreed in advance for payment on arrival at check-in. Failure to pay in accordance with the agreed terms and conditions may result in retraction of reserved accommodation. Payment methodsWe accept the following methods of payment: Bank to Bank transfer to our account or by cheque. Cheques are acceptable providing there is sufficient time for the funds to be cleared at least 21 days prior to your check-in date. Please contact us for more information regarding account details. Credit Card / Debit Card (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club, Switch, Maestro, Delta, Electron, JCB, Solo) are not accepted at this time. Bank TransfersWhen sending a remittance please quote the reservation name. A copy of the bank transfer request should be faxed/emailed to us. VAT (Value Added Tax) & GSTAt this time VAT and GST are not required to be added to the quoted price. Booking Terms and Conditions:DepositUpon confirming a reservation, we will require a security deposit to be given (see the Tariff page of the website) either prior to arrival or upon check in. Minimum and maximum booking periodWe do not have a minimum or maximum booking period for any reservations. Any booking over 3 months in duration will require a formal lease document. Cancellation of reservationsCancellation within 21 days of the date of arrival is subject to a cancellation charge of three days rental (at the prevailing daily rate) or for bookings in excess of one week, a week’s cancellation charge (at the prevailing weekly rate). Cancellation more than 21 days before date of arrival, there is no cancellation charge. However, for any cancellation we will require a $30 (£15.00) administration charge to be paid per refund transaction. Check-in and Check-outCheck-in after 2pm, Check-out before 11am unless otherwise agreed 14 days prior to check-in. Security DepositCredit card imprints may be required on or prior to arrival to cover the cost of any key deposit, phone calls or any extras. Any extras must be settled in full prior to the client’s departure. Clients should be aware that they will be liable for any damages or breakages caused whilst in the accommodation. The security deposit will be returned in full to the client at the end of the reservation period provided there have been no breakages or damages to the accommodation or additional costs incurred (such as maid service, phone calls, lost keys, internet bandwidth over usage etc) by the guest. Amendments to reservationsAmendments to reservations can be made free of charge on all reservations. However please note that we do not accept any responsibility for lack of availability that may become apparent at the time of an amendment. An amendment to a reservation does not include a cancellation of a reservation. Termination noticeWe may terminate the Contract immediately if payment of any sum due to us is not made on the due date. Arrival and departuresThe client must arrive on the specified date upon confirmation. If the client does not arrive (without any prior notice or agreement), within 24 hours, the reservation will be deemed as a ‘no show’ and will consequently be subject to a cancellation fee. The client must depart on the date set out on the confirmation notice. Extensions to reservationsIf the client wishes to extend the reservation period as set out in the original confirmation, the client must do so by notifying us and confirming the extension and paying prior to the date of the original departure. Accommodation Terms and Conditions:Agreement of occupationYour stay with any property is not intended to confer exclusive possession on either the client or the guest nor to create the relationship of landlord and tenant between The property owner and either the client or the guest. Neither the client nor the guest will be entitled to any tenancy, or any assured short hold or assured tenancy, or to any statutory protection under the housing act 1988, or to any other statutory security of tenure now or upon the determination of this agreement. Breakages and damagesThe client named on the reservation confirmation is directly responsible for all breakages and damages to the accommodation caused by the client or its guests. If there are breakages or damages unnoticed at time of check-out, we will notify the client by email or phone within 2-weeks of the client leaving, providing a detailed breakdown of the issues and the costs of rectifying them. Miscellaneous:Key collectionThe key collection process will be agreed between the guest and the owner at least 14 days prior to the check-in date. This allows for any delivery arrangements to be made in time of the arrival date. Clients can only collect the key to the accommodation on the day of arrival or unless as previously agreed otherwise. Force MajeureThe owner shall not be liable to any person by reason of any delay or failure to perform any of our obligations under the contract if the delay or failure was due to circumstances or cause beyond our control. |
